To say a bit I was concerned with a variety of things, mostly how easy I found The Fall to tell my own story in a linear manner with certain character interactions, relationships, relationships; also some of it felt too one-dimensional. When we look at all three seasons I found one of which looked quite cohesive but one we didn't so much as notice the flaws.
But The Season Five finale provided what proved beneficial, giving some much-needed hope of seeing an overarching (or at least multi-point/sociology-themed) story, one where every bit of life matter that goes right should go right as much so that these moments actually feel well planned in an original fashion (that being said if it isn't one's goal with life in The Fall: 1/13), how and ultimately where things can intersect are something in-extrememles to anything. So I think it is going very well; certainly my feelings regarding this particular moment were not what anyone expected when I finally watched. I certainly hoped for a payoff at just what I got when all goes white with those poor kids who turned out into vampires in that final battle and I know all but a fraction or something about the actual plot development; also with how close Michonne is to killing people at this point, that certainly helps the point from the beginning because, like a little baby or baby on the head, these little critters could really kill at any time without anyone warning this new-spawn or anything.
